What are IRESE Brokers?

What are the characteristics of a successful Broker?

Successful Brokers have a lower default rate and higher funding rate on their property owners' financing. Brokers are rated by the collective Note repayment performance of their financing, and each Broker's rating is displayed on the site.

How are Brokers rated and ranked?

Brokers are rated by a Broker rating system which is visible to everyone on IRESE. A Broker's rating is a measurement of the collective repayment performance of the Broker's products originated at IRESE. Learn more about Broker ratings.

How do I become a Broker?

You will start by providing some basic information about your company, including a Broker name, Tax Id, linceses, a Broker description, and a longer description telling the market more details about your entity.

Once your Broker information is complete, all of this information will be sent to IRESE's Broker Services team, who will review your Broker application, and make a decision on your Broker application within a few days. Learn more about editing your Broker profile.

Are there any limitations on Brokers?

Broker are bound by the terms of the Mortgage Financing Broker Agreement, Future Equity Agreement Broker Agreement and Home Equity Protection Plan Broker Agreement. They must also familiarize themselves with IRESE's Rules for Broker policies located on IRESE's policies page. Broker may only one account on IRESE market.
