Offers to Make Real Estate Financing Off-site

IRESE prohibits email offers between investors and brokers or owner for real estate financing outside of the IRESE web site. Offers of this nature circumvent IRESE's fee structure, may violate state or federal consumer protection laws, and are a potential fraud risk for both owners and investors.

Some examples of off-site loan offers include:

  • Using information obtained through IRESE to offer to finance Mortgage Financing outside of IRESE
  • Using information obtained through IRESE to offer to finance Future Equity Agreement outside of IRESE
  • Offering to lend additional money above and beyond the loan amount stated in your bid
  • Offering to accept additional interest or other compensation (in the form of cash or other things of value) above and beyond the terms of financing

If you would like to report a member who is attempting to offer real estate financing outside of IRESE, please contact customer support.
